Travel RN – Pediatrics (Nights)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: 10/19/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs; reassess systematically to identify trends requiring intervention
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
• Provide care for pediatric patients as well as adult female patients (18+), including post-partum mothers, post-operative patients, and general med-surg patients
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions
• Delegate and coordinate team assignments based on patient and unit needs; follow up on delegated tasks for quality and completeness
• Float to L&D and Med-Surg units as needed; participate in on-call rotation if census is low

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification via AHA required
• ACLS Certification via AHA required
• PALS Certification via AHA required
• NRP Certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Availability for weekend and on-call shifts as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Pediatrics and/or Medical-Surgical nursing strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience caring for post-partum and post-operative patient populations
