Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning of residents
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
- Must carry and present a state or federally issued photo ID at the facility at all times while on assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA or T-CNA certification in the state of New Mexico
- COVID-19 vaccination (original or updated series) required; documented religious or medical exemption from employer may be accepted in lieu of vaccination
- Additional vaccine doses must be obtained where required by law
- Must wear a photo badge at all times while on assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Familiarity with night shift routines and resident care in an LTC/SNF setting
