Schedule / Job Type
Contract (11 Weeks) | Days | Sunday, Friday, Saturday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
- Must present a valid state or federal issued photo ID at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times while on assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid CNA certification in the state of New Mexico
- Completion of original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer
- Additional vaccine doses must be obtained where required by law
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records and care documentation
