Emergency Department RN – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Plan and implement written care plans under the direction of a Physician
• Administer medications safely, applying visual acuity and hand-eye coordination standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
• Interact positively with the care team and patients, respecting individual culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license required, or eligibility to obtain
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Prior clinical experience in an Emergency Room or specialty setting
• Specialty certification in Emergency Nursing or related area
• Membership in a professional nursing organization
