CAT Scan Tech – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures including interventional cases, CT Angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction in accordance with department protocol, applying the ALARA principle for ionizing radiation
• Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast; review IV Contrast Questionnaire with patients prior to administration
• Inform and instruct patients to ensure cooperation, and assist the radiologist during interventional procedures
• Coordinate daily workload by scheduling inpatients and prioritizing emergency department patients while considering the outpatient schedule
• Complete documentation in Epic EMR and review exams in PACS for completeness prior to radiologist submission
• Maintain equipment, perform daily QA and warm-up procedures, troubleshoot issues, and keep a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT Certification required
• New Hampshire Imaging License required
• BLS Certification required
• CT Scan experience required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, including on-call, holiday, and weekend shifts as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT CT Registry eligible
• Familiarity with CT Scan software, GE and Siemens platforms preferred
• Experience with PACS software, McKesson Change Healthcare preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
