Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting across day shift rotations
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, with competency validated through the safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Participate in required holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday
• Complete facility-required annual hands-on competency and pre-start modules as scheduled
• Maintain active, compliant licensure and all required certifications throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 12 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of submission
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months, required at time of submission
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience with demonstrated ECG rhythm recognition proficiency
• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure, though not mandatory
• Familiarity with pre-start and annual competency module completion processes
