Job Title

Echo Tech – Noninvasive Cardiology (Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8s) or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (4x10s) | No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive cardiac echo studies on a patient population consisting primarily of congenital cardiac abnormalities
• Conduct and interpret echocardiographic imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and physician orders
• Accurately document findings and maintain patient records within the EMR system
• Collaborate with cardiology team members to support diagnostic and clinical workflows
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including nicotine-free campus policies and timely completion of onboarding documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of echo/sonography experience required
• RDCS (PE) and/or RCCS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active, in-hand license required at time of submittal — candidates without a license in hand will not be considered
• Must be available to submit requested time-off dates at the time of submission
• Must be able to complete all compliance documentation within required timeframes prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric (Peds) echo experience highly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome if resume demonstrates the required skills and experience
