Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 36-bed critical care unit, including both intensive care and step-down designations
• Monitor and manage patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring, including those in shock
• Care for vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery patients in a state-of-the-art critical care environment
• Manage patients with acute respiratory disease processes requiring mechanical ventilation
• Deliver care within a cardiac ICU area equipped with operating room-quality lighting for emergency situations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• Experience in an intensive care or critical care setting
• Proficiency in caring for hemodynamically unstable patients
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with mechanical ventilation management
• Background in cardiac, vascular, or thoracic surgical patient care
• Familiarity with step-down or intermediate care patient populations
