Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and individualized patient care plans
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting
• Develop and support care systems for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma LVN or LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN Medical Surgical experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Applicants residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered for placement under a local rate structure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a regional referral center or high-volume acute care environment
• Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience caring for multi-generational patient populations across a broad range of medical specialties
