Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized ultrasound equipment emitting high-frequency sound waves to produce sonograms and ultrasound images of patients
- Capture and evaluate diagnostic images of OB/GYN patients to support physician assessment and treatment planning
- Collaborate closely with physicians to help identify and assess medical conditions through imaging findings
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records in accordance with facility protocols
- Adhere to all facility-specific policies, including orientation schedules and on-call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Sonographer experience
- ARDMS certification required — documentation must be provided
- Applicants residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered for placement under a modified rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an OB/GYN or women’s imaging specialty setting
- Familiarity with regional referral center or high-volume hospital environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working within a multidisciplinary care team
