Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Rockford, IL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | On-Site | Days — Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with start times of 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00 AM (rotating). No holiday work expected; occasional Saturday availability may be requested.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical nuclear medicine procedures including gamma camera operation and image acquisition
• Prepare and dose radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
• Administer IV injections as required for nuclear medicine studies
• Maintain and apply radiation safety standards throughout all procedures
• Support PET/CT imaging procedures as needed

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (N) or CNMT (NMTCB) certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification required — RQI certifications are not accepted
• Demonstrated clinical nuclear medicine experience
• Proficiency in radiopharmaceutical preparation and dosing
• Experience with gamma camera operation and radiation safety practices
• Ability to perform IV administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PET/CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with rotating or alternate start-time scheduling environments
