Job Title
Registered Nurse – Pediatrics
Location
Rockford, IL | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts | Weekends and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License in the state of Illinois or compact equivalent
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Pediatric nursing certification (CPN)
