Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume acute care environment with an average census of approximately 380 patients across a 600-bed facility
• Support bed planning and patient placement activities as needed within the unit
• Document patient care and clinical assessments using Epic EMR
• Adhere to unit-specific holiday coverage requirements, working 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 designated holidays
• Complete all required pre-start and annual compliance modules, including Epic training, prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or active Compact license required
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room (ER) or Critical Care experience required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests will not be accommodated after an offer is extended
• Must meet all compliance requirements; open or active background hits or license hits are not accepted
• At least one supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Candidates who fail competency exams must observe a 6-month waiting period before resubmitting
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with bed planning and patient placement operations
• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with Baxter pump operation
