Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Start time may vary +/- 2 hours based on department needs; advance notice of any change will be provided one week prior | No on-call requirement | Holidays are required and scheduled based on unit need; travelers may be scheduled for a holiday that falls outside contracted days

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in an acute care teaching hospital environment
• Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices
• Operate Siemens CT equipment and document within Epic EMR
• May be required to float to a nearby affiliated facility approximately half a mile from the primary location

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted — Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers while their permanent VA license is processing
• Siemens experience required
• Epic experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted; prior travel experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (distance calculated from address on candidate’s Driver’s License only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume acute care or Level I Trauma Center setting
• Familiarity with Magnet-designated hospital environments and associated standards
• Experience with contrast media administration in a clinical imaging setting
