Joliet, IL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Onsite | Expected 32 hours/week | Every other weekend required | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to an adult inpatient population on a medical/surgical floor
• Deliver care addressing neuro, orthopedic, and general diagnoses
• Document patient care using Meditech EHR (transition to EPIC anticipated during assignment period)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress and discharge planning
• Optional opportunity to float to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) for interested and qualified clinicians — not required

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Experience with adult patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult inpatient and/or acute rehabilitation unit (ARU) experience
• ICU experience is a bonus but not required
• Familiarity with neuro, orthopedic, and general medical diagnoses
