Job Title

Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Akron, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 5×8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians during IR procedures
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
• Complete required annual hands-on competency assessments as directed by the facility
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including orientation modules and assessments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures
• Active, permanent Ohio state license required at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the specialty is required for submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (up to 2 attempts permitted)
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel experience in an interventional radiology or special procedures setting
• Familiarity with compliance-driven healthcare environments and orientation module requirements
• Experience working within large health system environments
