Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation (Travel)

Jacksonville, FL | Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting across floors 1 and 2
• Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:8, delivering individualized, patient-centered rehabilitation nursing care
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EHR
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to support each patient’s recovery journey
• Adhere to all facility protocols, including weekend shift coverage (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Cooperative, team-oriented approach to patient care and staff collaboration
