Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Expected 48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting, maintaining a 1:8 patient ratio
• Support individualized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and orthopedic injury
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Cerner EHR
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate ongoing patient care throughout the recovery journey
• Work weekend shifts as scheduled (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with electronic health records
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR platform
• Cooperative, team-oriented approach to patient care and staff collaboration
