Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4×12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements, with 6 weekend shifts expected per 6-week period
• Float to units of equal acuity as needed based on facility needs, with brief unit orientation provided
• Complete onsite orientation modules as part of the onboarding process
• Maintain compliance with all facility and contract requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state (pending NM/Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• Previous staff members must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing or a unit of similar acuity
• Ability to adapt quickly to new unit environments and workflows
