Schedule / Job Type
Contract (9 Weeks) | Nights | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living in a long-term care / skilled nursing environment
- Support nursing staff with resident monitoring, repositioning, and personal hygiene
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility policies
- Adhere to infection control protocols and facility safety standards at all times
- Wear a facility-issued or agency photo badge and present valid state or federal issued identification upon arrival to the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification or T-CNA status as required by the state of New Mexico
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
- Completion of original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer; additional doses required where mandated by law
- Ability to work night shift on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records and care documentation systems
