Albuquerque, NM | Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month | Expected shift approximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (hours may vary)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to address functional deficits and promote recovery
• Implement and progress therapeutic interventions in alignment with patient goals and physician orders
• Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately using the facility’s EMR system (ProTouch)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of New Mexico
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Ability to work a schedule of Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month
• Proficiency or ability to learn facility EMR systems; experience with ProTouch a plus
• Must comply with facility dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) or similar complex care environment
• Familiarity with ProTouch EMR documentation system
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
