Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by a supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
- Active Michigan state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams
