Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Medical Oncology/Hematology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 0700–1930, Monday–Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated Medical Oncology/Hematology unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical/surgical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and safety standards
• Maintain AHA BLS certification compliance throughout the assignment
• Meet holiday scheduling requirements, including 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Oncology or Hematology care setting
• Familiarity with oncology/hematology patient populations and related care protocols
