Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 9:00 PM – 9:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing in a freestanding emergency department setting
- Conduct minor blood banking functions including blood typing and RhoGam issuance
- Operate and maintain Beckman instrumentation and Remisol middleware
- Perform quality control (QC) procedures and routine instrument maintenance
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results to support patient care
Required Qualifications
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification or equivalent clinical laboratory credential
- Experience with Beckman instruments and Remisol middleware
- Demonstrated ability to perform QC and instrument maintenance
- Competency in minor blood banking procedures (blood typing and RhoGam issuance)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with DXC 500 chemistry analyzer
- Experience with Access 2 immunoassay analyzer
- Experience with DxH 520 hematology analyzer and/or ACL TOP 370 coagulation analyzer
