Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Varies)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery unit
• Monitor and manage patients experiencing pregnancy-related conditions including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
• Assess and respond to changes in maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe delivery outcomes
• Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• AWHONN certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-risk obstetric conditions such as preeclampsia and preterm labor
• Familiarity with care protocols for pregnant patients with diabetes
• Strong clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment
