Job Title

CVOR Surgical Technologist

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within a cardiovascular OR environment, with a focus on cardiovascular/thoracic and transplant cases
• Assist with robotic thoracic procedures as needed
• Float within facility and to the Main OR within scope of practice as departmental needs require
• Participate in on-call rotation subject to departmental needs
• Work assigned major holidays that fall within the contract period per holiday policy
• Complete all required orientation modules and compliance documentation within designated timelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR surgical technologist experience
• Georgia state surgical tech certification or equivalent required
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date; failure to comply may result in a two-week start date delay
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite
• No RTO may be requested during orientation week (Monday–Sunday)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiovascular/thoracic and transplant surgical cases
• Robotic thoracic surgical experience
• Prior travel assignment experience (first-time travelers also considered)
