Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Weekend-focused schedule (Friday, Saturday, plus one weekday shift) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level IV / Surgical NICU environment
• Manage and monitor neonatal patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
• Support pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal patients
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in holiday coverage; expected to work at least one holiday if it falls within the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• PALS certification required
• Experience in a Level IV or Surgical NICU setting
• Must comply with facility nicotine-free policy; nicotine testing will be conducted alongside standard drug screening — no exceptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• Experience managing complex neonatal surgical diagnoses and post-operative care
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to additional units as needed
