Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit, managing a general med/surg patient population including overflow oncology cases
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating appropriately per facility protocol

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with Nursys verification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Current certification card required
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• No time-off requests during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with oncology overflow patient populations
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
