Occupational Therapist

Contract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, 7:30–18:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to both adult and pediatric patients across a variety of diagnoses
• Primary focus on pediatric hospital outpatient care, with additional adult inpatient coverage as needed
• Deliver treatment in an outpatient clinic setting connected to the hospital, as well as on inpatient units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient progress and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license must be in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• First-time travel candidates are welcome to apply
• Must live more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 9 months prior to returning as a traveler
• All travelers must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota within 48 hours of signing — this is a Minnesota State requirement with no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with pediatric populations in an outpatient or hospital-based setting
• Familiarity with adult inpatient occupational therapy practices
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across age groups and diagnoses
