Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mids Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Every other weekend expected | Projected Start: October 26, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform procedures including NIH stroke assessments, IV placement, blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate and monitor equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC) throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in patient interactions
• Strong team-player mentality with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
