Travel RN – Telemetry (2W)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: November 2, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5/6
- Perform procedures including Foley insertion, peripheral IV placement, blood draws, and Code Stroke initiation
- Operate and document within the MEDITECH electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and unit secretaries as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Float to PCU and Med/Surg units as needed
- Adhere to unit-specific competencies and dress code (royal blue scrubs)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NIH Stroke Scale competency required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Specialty nursing certification
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented, patient-centered approach
