Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 10-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long term care residents in accordance with facility policies and care plans
- Assess, monitor, and document resident health status and changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate resident care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding care needs and updates
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of New York (or compact eligibility)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in a long term care or skilled nursing environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in long term care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a geriatric population
