Key Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluations and treatments across inpatient (acute, ICU, SNF) and outpatient settings
• Provide independent, thorough care for a wide range of outpatient diagnoses in a rural setting
• Manage acute to SNF inpatient mobility progression with knowledge of discharge planning
• Work across ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), and occasionally OB units
• Provide extensive coverage in a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic
• Manage a full schedule of 5–15 patients per day with appointments every 30–45 minutes and one-hour slots for new evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain one — Hawaii PT licensure is required prior to starting
• Ability to practice independently in a rural healthcare environment
• Experience working across multiple care settings including acute care, ICU, SNF, and outpatient

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with discharge planning and inpatient mobility progression
• Familiarity with ER and OB patient populations
• Comfort managing high patient volume with varied acuity levels
