Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Rotate every other weekend as required by unit scheduling
• Work assigned holidays based on unit need

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida or a compact license with Florida privileges
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Ability to work a schedule ranging from 36 to 48 hours per week
• Availability to work every other weekend
• Availability to work holidays as determined by unit need

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring systems and rhythm interpretation
• Experience working in a high-volume acute care environment
