Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Acute Care)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to Medical Surgical patients within a critical access hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor patient status, document clinical findings, and communicate changes in condition to appropriate providers
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and facility policies throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Michigan (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to commit to a 13-week contract beginning October 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural acute care setting
• Familiarity with swing bed or post-acute inpatient care workflows
• Experience working within Joint Commission accredited facilities
