Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care within a Medical Surgical unit at a Joint Commission Accredited Critical Access Hospital
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Collaborate with hospitalist physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes throughout the night shift
• Support swing bed and post-acute inpatient care as needed within the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Michigan or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a critical access hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med Surg or acute care setting
• Familiarity with critical access hospital operations and workflows
• Experience with swing bed or post-acute inpatient care
