Contract (13 Weeks) | Mid Shift | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
- Must carry and present a state or federally issued photo ID at the facility at all times and wear a photo badge during all shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Vermont Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Availability every other weekend is required
- Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer
- Additional vaccine doses must be obtained where required by law
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with elderly or medically complex residents
