Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (4W Days)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated 30-bed Stroke Unit within an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting
• Manage a diverse patient population including medical, cardiac, GI, and renal cases
• Care for patients presenting with DKA, sepsis, and trauma conditions
• Support pre- and post-operative surgical patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio while delivering safe, high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Indiana or compact eligibility
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, acutely ill patients across multiple specialties

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in stroke care or a dedicated stroke unit
• Background in cardiac, renal, or GI patient populations
• Familiarity with sepsis protocols and trauma care workflows
