Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiac patients throughout the continuum of care
• Support open heart surgery recovery, including post-operative assessment and intervention
• Assist with post cardiac procedure recovery, ensuring hemodynamic stability and patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Indiana or compact state eligibility
• Background in Critical Care or Cardiac Critical Care nursing
• Experience with open heart recovery
• Experience with post cardiac procedure recovery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience in a CVICU setting
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic support devices
• CCRN or relevant cardiac nursing certification
