Job Title

Level III NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist, Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level III NICU and PICU setting during night shift hours
• Assess, treat, and monitor neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory conditions
• Manage and operate mechanical ventilators and other respiratory support equipment for critically ill patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Illinois
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Experience working in a Level III NICU and/or PICU environment
• Proficiency with neonatal and pediatric mechanical ventilation
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract respiratory therapy experience
• Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) or other advanced respiratory modalities
• Familiarity with neonatal resuscitation protocols
