Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications and adhere to all clinical compliance standards
• Complete onboarding modules onsite during orientation within the required timeframe

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted
• Valid ACLS certification
• Valid BLS certification
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility as staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Medical Surgical setting
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
