Job Title

Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Location

Hudson, FL | Acute Care (Level II Trauma Center)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Variable Call Schedule | Every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 2-room CVOR suite maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG and valve replacement, as well as thoracic and vascular cases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team including CSTs and support staff across day shift operations
• Maintain willingness to float to the main OR as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)
• Participate in variable on-call schedule in accordance with facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Florida
• Minimum 5+ years of CVOR experience — candidates without this will not be considered
• Main OR experience with willingness to float to main OR
• Ability to work a variable call schedule, every other weekend, and holidays in rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RNs who also scrub (dual scrub/circulate capability)
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Flexible, team-oriented personality well-suited to a fast-paced surgical environment
