Stepdown Night RN – PRN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown/intermediate care unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Experience in a stepdown, IMC, or PCU care setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shift hours on a PRN basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an intermediate or progressive care unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
