Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No weekends, on-call, or holiday requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Microscopically examine gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens to identify cancerous, pre-cancerous cells, and other pathologic findings
• Screen a designated volume of Pap specimens daily in accordance with departmental standards
• Assist in obtaining diagnostic quality samples and provide feedback during fine needle aspiration procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, proceduralists, and pathologists across pulmonary, interventional radiology, and endocrine service lines
• Rotate independently to satellite campuses following completion of training at the primary location
• Work within a team environment alongside fellow cytologists and laboratory processors

Required Qualifications

• Cytotechnologist (CT) certification through ASCP required, or eligibility to sit for the exam (position may be offered contingent upon passing certification)
• Bachelor of Science degree required
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment alongside proceduralists
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with the ROSE (Rapid On-Site Evaluation) procedure, including working in procedure rooms
• Familiarity with fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures
• Exposure to a broad range of specimen types across multiple clinical service lines
