Job Title
Staff RN – Labor/Delivery and Med Surg
Location
Le Mars, IA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-hour shifts, weekday and weekend night shifts | Holiday coverage on a rotating basis
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care primarily in obstetrics, including labor and delivery
- Cover med-surg unit when there are no active OB needs
- Serve as Charge RN on assigned shifts as needed
- Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating basis
- May be required to take call on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- OB/Labor and Delivery experience is required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on both weekdays and weekends
- Willingness to cover med-surg in addition to OB responsibilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Critical Access Hospital or similar rural healthcare setting
- Prior Charge RN experience
- Familiarity with med-surg nursing in addition to OB
