Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic / Spine

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit within a large acute care hospital setting
• Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury management
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:5 on day shift (ratios may vary by unit and are not guaranteed)
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Demonstrate flexibility, including willingness to float to other units as needed
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
• Experience in a Magnet-designated hospital environment
