Key Responsibilities

• Provide first assist services across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, and gynecology
• Support Labor & Delivery (L&D) surgical cases as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation based on department needs, with expected weekday call (1800–0630) approximately 1–2 times per week and weekend call approximately every 4th weekend
• Float within skill set to other on-site departments or to facilities within the region as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system throughout clinical duties

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) or equivalent recognized certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability and willingness to float to sites within approximately 40 miles if needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Background in Labor & Delivery (L&D) surgical support
• Broad surgical experience spanning orthopedics, gynecology, and general surgery
