Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to labor and induction patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Perform in the circulating role within the OB operating room as assigned
• Manage antepartum patient assignments as directed by unit leadership
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and annually as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications — all must be active and in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the same specialty — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• No open background or license hits; all background findings are subject to facility review
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC Stork electronic health record system
• Prior experience across multiple Labor and Delivery roles, including antepartum and OB-OR circulating
