Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating sound independent clinical decision-making
• Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to revise plans as needed
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions in a timely and accurate manner
• Facilitate and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor or preceptor and actively support teamwork and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in Practice Governance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety and service improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)
