Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Seymour, IN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care
• Support Mother Baby unit as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Float within scope of practice to other units when facility needs arise
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Participate in weekend rotation as part of standard scheduling expectations
• Complete all required facility modules prior to start and annually as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state or compact) — must be in-hand prior to start; pending licenses are not accepted
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Beginner) certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Valid driver’s license required — must be included with submission
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the local rate (within 80-mile radius of facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in both Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby settings strongly preferred
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR strongly preferred
• First-time travel nurses may be considered depending on overall clinical experience
